A Call for a Better Understanding of Aquatic Chytrid Biology

چکیده
The phylum Chytridiomycota (the “chytrids”) is an early-diverging, mostly unicellular, lineage of fungi that consists significant aquatic saprotrophs, parasites, and pathogens, evolutionary interest because its members retain biological traits considered ancestral in the fungal kingdom. While existence chytrids has long been known, their fundamental biology received relatively little attention. We are beginning to establish a detailed understanding chytrid diversity insights into ecological functions prominence. However, underpinning governing activities associated core processes remain largely understudied therefore unresolved. Many questions outstanding for chytrids. What mechanisms control development life cycle? Which underpin influence? can tell us about evolution wider eukaryotic tree life? propose field ecology could be further advanced through improved biology, including model targeted studies using culture-independent approaches.

proteomics a key tool for a better understanding of endometriosis:
endometriosis is a painful reproductive disease afflicting about up to 20% of women. it is one of the most frequent benign gynaecological diseases, however, little is known about the pathological of endometriosis. over the past decade, high-throughput proteomics technologies have evolved considerably and have become increasingly more commonly applied to the investigation of female reproductive ...
متن کاملinvestigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
I-34: NRY Haplotype Analysis: towards A Better Understanding of The Genetic Basis of Spermatogenic Failure
It has been established that the Y chromosome carries genes required for spermatogenesis and male fertility. For many decades worldwide screening for gene identification has been conducted in research laboratories. However, it has been a difficult process in identifying such genes (i.e. causative mutations) which could explain the phenotypic variation and could be potentially used as markers fo...
متن کاملIranian EFL Learners’ Autonomous Behavior in Out-of-class Contexts: A Call for Understanding Learners’ Personalized Approaches to Learning
The salient, and often ignored, role that out-of-class learning plays in second/foreign language (L2) learners’ development is overshadowed by classroom research. The main aim of this study is to problematize the role of out-of-class learning in the specific English-as-Foreign-Language (EFL) context of Iran by examination of the ways in which four learners attempted to revamp their English lang...
متن کاملA Call for a Backward Design to Knowledge Translation
Despite several calls to support evidence-informed policy-making, variations in uptake of evidence into policy persist. This editorial brings together and builds on previous Knowledge Translation (KT) frameworks and theories to present a simple, yet, holistic approach for promoting evidence-informed policies. The proposed conceptual framework is characterized by its impact-oriented approach and...
